Otterbox for Samsung Galaxy S2

I had heard that the screen protector section for this Otterbox was difficult to apply but I did not find that. Having read the instructions and advice from the Otterbox website (as well as a few others) and watched a few youtube vids on applying the screen I was good to go. From the time I received my phone I also just kept the protective film on and made do using the screen through the pictures, writing and logos that were on the film, until I was ready to apply the Otterbox screen protector. That way, there was no chance of dust being on the screen and fouling up my efforts to get a smooth bubble-free finish. I'm sure a lot of folks wouldn't go through the inconvenience of having the use the phone through the protective film that is on the phone in the box, but I'd say, it's minimal hastle really and if you want any screen protector to work properly then it's a good idea. The touch buttons work well, never had any problems there. I like the fact that the camera is now set back from the surface of the Otterbox as this gives a little added protection for a lens that Samsung have left a cover off of. I wouldn't say that this protector makes the phone overly bulky either. The S2 is a slim phone and on its own, out of a protective case, it is definitely svelte. But I'm glad I have this protector as a broken svelte phone is a bit like a latex spatula, pish! Anyway, I've only had this protector on for 2 months so this may not be the final word. But so far I'd definitely recommend it.
